Judah M. Cohen is the Lou and Sybil Mervis Professor of Jewish Culture in the Indiana University Borns Jewish Studies Program and professor of musicology at the Jacobs School of Music. He has researched and published extensively on American Jewish music and Caribbean Jewish history, in addition to projects on musical theater and Holocaust Representation. He is also the co-editor of the book “The Culture of AIDS in Africa” with Gregory Barz.
