Sarah Grandke

Sarah Grandke was born in 1989 in the Uckermark region, Brandenburg (Germany). Her current research is on Displaced Persons. She is a PhD candidate at the Leibniz Institute for East and Southeast European Studies at the University of Regensburg. Until June 2023, she was one of the curators at the Documentation Centre ‘denk.mal Hannoverscher Bahnhof’ in Hamburg. Prior to this, she worked at the Flossenbürg Concentration Camp Memorial, the The Munich Documentation Center for the History of National Socialism as well as the Dachau Concentration Camp Memorial. She studied in Munich, Erfurt as well as Łódź/Poland and Lviv/Ukraine.
